Professional aesthetic dentistry in Gdańsk

A beautiful smile is the only smile you deserve! The smile cannot be overrated when it comes to interpersonal relationships – those private and those professional. You only get one chance to make a good first impression after all. Your smile has great power and can change your life. It surely boosts your sense of self-worth, adds to your attractiveness, and gives you great well-being.

Aesthetic dentistry focuses on removing visual imperfections by restoring dental colour, shape, and function. The most common procedures involve teeth whitening, veneers, gum contouring, dental gap repair, and bonding.

Teeth whitening

Even though their teeth are healthy, our patients are very often unsatisfied with their smile. On top of proper prevention, careful oral hygiene, and regular dental visits, an additional nudge is needed at times for a beautiful smile – the nudge usually being teeth whitening.

At IWANEK Clinic, we offer modern laser-assisted teeth whitening, which brings quick and long-lasting effects without hypersensitivity after the procedure. One visit is enough to see the desired results, which means that you can enjoy healthy and beautiful teeth like a cinema superstar. Teeth whitening requires that all dental cavities are repaired beforehand.

Porcelain and composite veneers

Veneers may improve your smile by evening out the surface of a tooth, hiding difficult discolorations, reshaping the tooth, and correcting roughness and minor damage such as chipped enamel. They are thin aesthetic covers made of porcelain, ceramic, or composite stuck onto the surface of a tooth and fixed with a special glue.

Veneers are the simple way to get beautiful teeth! Thanks to them, you will change the colour and shape of your teeth or even correct their placement in the dental arch and remove any gaps between them. They will be perfect for repairing damage resulting from mechanical traumas.

Bonding – an innovative method to improve dental aesthetics

This procedure allows improving dental imperfections without invading enamel or causing pain. A dentist applies a thin layer of composite and not only contours your teeth, but also shades their colour, achieving aesthetic results very close to natural dentition. This is a quick and effective method to restore any cavities.

One procedure leaves you with markedly improved dental appearance, making your smile regain its natural aesthetics very quickly. When considering bonding, you need to remember that you will need to attend regular dental hygiene appointments, where we will sand your teeth, among other procedures, to remove the deposit. Bonding refreshing plays a crucial role too – we recommend doing it more or less every six months.

Dental reconstruction

We also perform dental reconstructions with crowns and implants, which let you fully restore your chewing and speaking capacity.

• Crown - a specialised prosthetic restoration which reconstructs a majorly damaged tooth. It is retained and cemented onto a properly prepared tooth and is intended to be worn permanently. It completely covers the visible portion of the tooth. It is easy to fit the shape and match the colour of the other teeth thanks to a wide range of available shades. It can be used in front and back teeth alike. Crowns work well with dead teeth as well, e.g. after root canal treatment or in enamel hypoplasia. They are prepared after careful evaluation of whether the dental roots are fit for prosthetic supports – each root is assessed based on previous endodontic treatment and for the fitness of the hard dental tissue. All this is done to reconstruct crowns on them as foundations.
• Implant - advanced implants are safe for the patient and effectively allow to change the aesthetics of even the most neglected smile. Contrary to crowns, implants do not cover the problem but replace the dental root entirely, being placed in dental gaps. They are made up of a titanium or zirconium element, implanted into the upper or lower jaw bone, and a dental crown supported on the root. This is the best solution for those who want to improve their smile and do not plan on using a regular denture. Implants restore full oral function and aesthetics. At IWANEK Clinic, we use ROOTT systems – a novel implant solution delivering versatility and reliability.

Gum contouring

Aesthetic dental services include gum correction as well. We restore the aesthetic appearance to our patients' gums and reshape them properly, making sure to keep the right proportions between their teeth and gums. This way we are able to eliminate the problem of the so-called gummy smile or exposed dental necks.
